“A Quiet Place” Roars At The Box Office!
If you want to see one of the best films of 2018 so far, get out of your seats and head to “A Quiet Place”, directed by and starring John Krasinki, alongside his wife Emily Blunt.
Critics are loving this movie, and so are preview audiences: the film opened last night to more than $4.5 million – on a Thursday night preview night!
Here is the plot in a nutshell:
A family is forced to live in silence while hiding from creatures that hunt by sound. Yes, you can’t make a sound because, as the film’s tagline says:
“If they hear you, they hunt you.”

Bravo to Krasinski and Blunt, two popular Actors who have now made a great new thriller.
While it seems natural that Krasinski would cast his own wife in the role, he once said in an interview with E!:
“I would love to direct Emily Blunt, [But] I’d rather act with Emily than direct. I don’t know if I need that responsibility. She’s so good and I’d be so scared to screw it up, but [I’d be] happy to be in scenes with her. That would be really fun. We’re always up for doing something. It’s just got to be the right thing…Give us a good one! I would love it!”
Well, he got a good one, and they made a great film – let me know if you see it this weekend!
